and actresses for major roles in the upcoming production of Tony n'
Tina's Wedding to play at the Wedding Pavillion in Calgary, Alberta
from November 16 to December 15, 2012. (8 Shows)
At Tony n' Tina's Wedding, audience members actually play the roles of Tony n' Tina's family and friends. This universal familiarity with the union of two individuals from 2 distinct families, regardless as to where they are from takes the audience back and forth between fantasy and reality throughout the entire evening. For the ultimate experience the audience will eat, drink, dance, converse and get caught up in the activities.
Cast members, playing the roles of the wedding party, family and friends, will be situated throughout the “reception” and will be required to improvise.
Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, October 14 from 10AM-4PM.
We are seeking men and women ages 18-60. Improvisational skills and acting experience are helpful. Auditions will include an interview as well as a prepared monologue. Audition time, location and required monologue will be assigned via e-mail.
Actors must be available for rehearsals and all performances.
Rehearsal schedule will be provided at the audition.
