Urban
Stories Theatre is a new theatre company starting up in Calgary, AB and we are
looking for actors for our second show RICHES written by Wendy Froberg and

Times: 6:30pm-9:30pm (3 or 4 week nights starting in January 2013, dates
subject to group consensus)
Performance
Dates: April 9, 10, 11, 12, 2013 at 8pm & April 13, 2013 at 2:00pm
& 8pm at the EPCOR CENTRE's Motel
If
you are interested in auditioning, please send a headshot and resume via email
with the subject "UST RICHES AUDITION INQUIRY" to info@urbanstoriestheatre.org. Please
include in the body of your email which character you are interested in
auditioning for. Due to limited audition times will contact those we wish to
see for an audition with more information and sides. Actors will be asked to
prepare given character sides. Actors should be available for all of the
rehearsal dates and times because of the short intensive rehearsal period.

SYNOPSIS:
Family bonds offer us support, nurturance, belonging and a sense of identity.
As we grow, we move from being cared for by our parents to caring for them. But
what if they were never there for us? If we were abandoned, neglected or abused
by our parents, are we obligated to support them if they fall on hard times?
Riches explores themes of loss, disappointment, forgiveness and what we value
in our lives.
