Actors Needed!
Swallow-a-Bicycle Theatre Company is teaming up with
Beakerhead Festival of Arts and Engineering this September to bring i-ROBOT
Theatre to life!
Until then, I'm working on putting together a promotional
team of Robots to hang out at different times in different areas of the city
throughout this spring and summer. We'll be attending certain cultural events
throughout the summer as well as taking to the streets to get the word out
about i-ROBOT.
This is going to be a super fun, collaborative and
creative project that we'd love for you to be a part of. This is a volunteer
gig, however, joining the team means some possible perks such as free entry to
certain events!
One of our first events is none other than the Comic
Expo!
*April 26th - 28th* @ BMO Roundup Centre
At the event, we'll be sharing a booth with Apocolypse
Now.
At the Expo, we'll need two volunteers to dress up and
act as either a zombie or a robot. We'll have a "Choose Your Foe"
theme at the booth where guests get to take pictures and interact with the
zombie and robot. It's going to be a super fun event to be a part of and we'll
need people for the following shifts!
*Friday April 26th: 12pm-4:30pm/ 4:00pm - 8:30pm*
*Saturday April 27th: 10am - 3:30pm / 3:00pm - 7:30pm Sunday April 28th: 10am -
2:30pm / 2:00pm - 5:30pm*
This is just one event you can be a part of.
If you'd like to join us for this, please reply with your
availability for the weekend and we'll set up a date to meet with you prior.
