slots remaining for our upcoming auditions for "Romeo and Juliet". We
are especially looking for male actors, but we would love to see anyone
interested!

Time Commitment: Varies, based on role size Rehearsal Period: begins March 31, 2014 -
Monday-Friday evenings from 6-10 pm with a potential for a one-off full weekend
day.

Auditions run from
10 am –5 pm on March 1 and 2. We will be requiring 1 Shakespearean monologue
from any play. You may also be asked to do some cold reads from the script or
do some movement so please come prepared. Auditions are in 15 minute slots.
We are looking for
passionate, fun actors of any age range to play the following roles:
Escalus, prince of
Verona
Paris, a young nobleman
Montague, Capulet, heads of warring households Old man,
cousin to Capulet Romeo, son to Montague Mercutio, kinsman to the prince, and
friend to Romeo Benvolio, nephew to Montague, and friend to Romeo Tybalt,
nephew to Lady Capulet Friar Laurence, Friar John, Franciscans Balthasar,
servant to Romeo Sampson, Gregory, servants to Capulet Peter, servant to
Juliet's nurse Abraham, servant to Montague An Apothecary Three Musicians Page
to Paris; another Page; an Officer Lady Montague, wife to Montague Lady
Capulet, wife to Capulet Juliet, daughter to Capulet Nurse to Juliet Citizens
of Verona; Maskers, Guards, Watchmen, and Attendants Please note that we will be casting many
roles as gender blind and there is a possibility that one actor may be playing
several roles.
