The University of Calgary Faculty of Law is seeking actors for:
1. PORTRAYAL OF CLIENTS IN CLIENT-INTERVIEWS AND
CLIENT-NEGOTIATIONS
Actors are being sought to portray clients in a law firm. Client scenarios and profiles will be provided. Wages: $15/hour. Dates and hours of commitment are as follows:
Client Interviews:
* January 11-15, 2016 – 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Monday thru Friday)
* January 16, 2016 – 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (Saturday)
Client Negotiations:
* January 18-19, 2016 – 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (Monday & Tuesday)
* January 18-19, 2016 – 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Monday & Tuesday)
2. 2016 WESTERN CANADA TRIAL MACINTYRE CUP COMPETITION
Actors are being sought to portray witnesses in a murder trial competition. This competition involves 7 law schools from Western Canada. Witness profiles and scenarios will be provided. Wages:
$15/hour. Dates and hours of commitment are as follows:
* Interviews by Crown & Defence Counsel – Thursday, February 4, 2016 – from 2:30 pm to 7:15 pm
* Witnesses at Trial – Friday, February 5, 2016 – from 9:00 am to
5:00 pm
* Witnesses at Trial – Saturday, February 6, 2016 – from 9:00 am to
5:00 pm
