The CAST Program

A part of the
Youth Singers of Calgary’s
SUMMER STAGES.
Our goal is to give young performers (ages 15-24*) a
unique training experience and the tools necessary to take their love of the
arts to the next level as they continue to pursue post-secondary, community or
professional performance opportunities.
* Participants age 15 must include a letter of
recommendation from a performing arts coach or instructor.
* Opportunities exist for individuals over age 24 to
participate, please inquire if interested.

Saturday February 6th, 2016 7:00-10:00pm
AUDITION LOCATION:
Performing Arts Youth Centre (1371 Hastings Cres SE)
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Please prepare one musical theatre piece that best shows
your vocal quality and personality. Audition times include dance call and cold
read auditions (details on signup page). Being a training program these
audition components are not arduous but are to see how you follow direction and
assess your current level.

professional companies
- vocal masterclasses

- a role in our 2016 Production: The Drowsy Chaperone

THE DROWSY CHAPERONE

Come for a visit with the Man in the Chair as his all
time favourite musical comes to life in his living room. Will Janet Van De
Graaf really give up the stage for love? Can Feldzieg save his theatre without
his leading lady? Hijinx is bound to happen under the watch of the Drowsy
Chaperone!
