BACKGROUND NEEDED: UnPaid Positions
We're looking for Background/Extras for our romantic comedy, Just Ask.
Just Ask is about a timid coffee shop manager who is dared by her know-it-all barista to ask one of her customers out on a date.
Date: Monday, January 21st
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Location: SAIT Campus - Orpheus Theatre
Role: Audience member at a live performance

Let us know you can make it AND how many people you can bring with you. We'll have refreshments and snacks at the theatre for you. Since this is a volunteer mentorship, we have no additional funding to pay for actors, crew or our lovely Background talent - sorry, maybe next time!
This short film which has been made possible by the Herland Video Production & Mentorship Program (http://herland.ca) which will allows women an opportunity to explore their creative vision with the goal of making a personal short film. These women acquire skills and experience in the art of filmmaking as they progress through the filmmaker’s journey. The goal is to put the power of image-making and storytelling into the hands of local, diverse women with limited access and/or experience, and to foster a spirit of collaboration in safe and open environment.
