Gas & Light Productions in partnership with Dewdney
Players invite you to come and audition for our summer production of Robin
Hood. The production will take place in Okotoks at the performance space on
Elizabeth Street during the first two weekends in August. There are lots of fight scenes in this play
so be prepared for a work-out!

Will Scarlett Drinks a lot and sings
badly
Robin Hood He's Robin Hood!!
Maid Marion Strong women, can fight and
shoot with the best, Robin's love interest.
Riccon Hazel Heavy, one of the bad
guys
Sheriff of Nottingham
The bad guy, slightly out of control
Bishop of Hereford
On the chunky side, upper class snob
Hilton Sheriff's
female attendant
King John Devious but very
controlled and controlling
Queen Eleanor John's mother. Very
self-confident and calm
Little John Big, as in tall
Prioress of Kirklees Robin's not very nice cousin
Guy of Gisbourne Dresses as a horse, mean, a killer
Friar Tuck Also chunky, can
fight
Alan-a-Dale
Young, sings and
hopefully plays a string instrument
Ellen Deirwold Alan's love interest. the
maiden in distress
Plus at least 3 more men and 2 more women
The Calgary auditions will take place at Workshop Theatre
Rehearsal Space, Bay 10, 415 60th Ave SE. on Wednesday and Thursday April 16
and 17 at 7:00. This will be a cold read audition so no monologue is required,
just bring a bio if you have one. There will also be auditions in Okotoks at a
yet to be determined date.
