-What's next for Front Row Centre?-
An answer to last year's
celebration of the last 25 years of shows that FRC has done, join us on April
5th for a selection of musical theatre performances from shows that FRC has not
yet done. This wine & cocktail evening will culminate in the announcement
of our exciting 2014-2015 season of musical theatre.
-Audition Requirements-
**Members of Equity and ACTRA please note that as FRC
produces shows on a volunteer, recreational basis, we will not pay any professional
association fees, such as the fees stipulated by Equity’s Amateur Guest
Artist policy, under any circumstances whatsoever.**
Bring your favourite song from what's currently on
Broadway or still in the movies, or that we've never seen before!
We are looking for
singers, dancers and musicians to submit performance pieces from shows that
have not yet been done by Front Row Centre Players. This includes songs or dances,
or even instrumental pieces.
We also encourage
groups of 2 or more to audition and for people to audition with more than one
song. If submitting more than one song, be cognizant of the 10 minute time
slots, so book multiple slots if your pieces start exceeding 8 minutes in
total.
Please bring sheet
music for your piece and a backing track for audition purposes. If you are not
able to bring sheet music, please be aware that we might not be able to select
your piece if we are unable to find the sheet music.
-Rehearsals-
Rehearsals will be scheduled for Sunday March 23rd from 1
pm to 5 pm; Friday April 4th from 7 pm to 10 pm with dress rehearsal on the
performance Saturday, April 5th, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
We are looking for performance pieces from any show that
is *NOT* in the list below (you can even do something from a movie or an
original work):
