To start preparing for Voice Over, I would suggest you start
reading everything out loud and try saying what you read the way you talk.
It may seem weird, but talking in your own voice and style is very
important in creating your identity which will be your calling card that is
unique to you.
Also by practicing to read out loud we teach our brain to comprehend as
we are performing. Till now we are taught to comprehend while reading to
ourselves.
