The Canmore Museum and Geoscience Centre is looking to hire 2 actors to assist in the promotion of the museum during weekends in the summer. Schedule could be flexible, but the expectation would be 8 hours of character reenactments (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 to 3 pm) involving interactions with tourists along main street in Canmore.
Canmore is a former coal mining town and the reenactment could involve a miner warning other locals (tourists) about how hard the mine work is, but the pay is so good. The other actor could be encouraging the locals because they are "broad shouldered" to pick up an axe and head to the mine for work. The goal would be to raise the profile of the museum through interaction with locals and tourists.

We seek to find actors who can get into a reenactments role and genuinely enjoy interacting with people.
