AUDITION NOTICE: PAID Reenactment Actors

AUDITION NOTICE: PAID REENACTMENT ACTORS NEEDED

The Canmore Museum and Geoscience Centre is looking to hire 2 actors to assist in the promotion of the museum during weekends in the summer. Schedule could be flexible, but the expectation would be 8 hours of character reenactments (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 to 3 pm) involving interactions with tourists along main street in Canmore.

Canmore is a former coal mining town and the reenactment could involve a miner warning other locals (tourists) about how hard the mine work is, but the pay is so good. The other actor could be encouraging the locals because they are "broad shouldered" to pick up an axe and head to the mine for work. The goal would be to raise the profile of the museum through interaction with locals and tourists.

We seek to find actors who can get into a reenactments role and genuinely enjoy interacting with people.

PAID Positions.
Actors who are interested should contact Jason, Executive Director directly. Contact below.

Audition Notice: Paid Commercial

Audition Notice from Noah Fallis noah@glean.ca

I'm directing a project to be shot locally where we need a few performers delivering their lines similar to this video:

This is PSA style video for a non-profit  (aka low budget) organization in good old USA:

The concept is confidential but quite clever and has potential to get some traction, so I'm reaching out to various groups of performers to see if anyone is interested. The audition process would be simple, introduce themselves, then a selfie mode video of them walking and talking, reading (preferably off book) the first page of the script. The shoot would be approximately 4-6hrs of their time, likely shooting next week or the week after with a small crew.

CASTING DETAILS:
  • Male & Female 25-40 (preferably any ethnicity, but not required)
  • Availability for week of Oct 22 and Oct 29
  • Compensation for lead talent $750
Please find the details of the sides below. Interested actors should contact  Noah Fallis directly at noah@glean.ca
