War is peace. Ignorance is strength. Thought is crime. George Orwell's acclaimed work gives a harrowing warning of a dystopian future which, sadly, has become all too familiar. With the rise of nationalism across Europe and now in America, what better time to retell the warnings this story shares about a desperate future that we all hope to avoid, yet seem inexorably drawn towards.

That said, we are also looking for multidisciplinary performance artists who can help bring some of the fantastical magic of the play to life in a live theatre performance. So this is also a call for puppeteers, clowns, acrobats, mimes, magicians and et cetera! Anyone who is comfortable with a whimsical, exploratory, fun discovery process is most welcome to sign up for an audition. We look forward to meeting you all!
