Sage Theatre is accepting submissions for our ninth annual Ignite! Calgary’s Festival for Emerging Artists. Ignite! features new works of theatre, dance, music, and visual art. The Festival offers emerging professional artists the opportunity to work together alongside local industry professionals to create and present new works for a lively festival audience. Artists experience many training/learning opportunities, including mentorship, workshop opportunities and networking.
An Emerging artist is defined as an artist in the early stages of a professional career. If you are looking for an opportunity to gain professional experience in a progressive environment, then Ignite! may be for you!
