Audition Notice: The Painted Fish Performing Arts Society

The Painted Fish Performing Arts Society is looking for Fagin, Bill Sykes, Mr. Brownlow, Oliver, and Mr. Sowerberry, as they seem to be missing from our cast! If you have seen one of them in your mirror or know of their whereabouts, please call Nate Holland-Kearins, producer as soon as possible. To help you help us find them, here is a short description of each:

Fagin: A shabby-distinguished, slightly evil gentleman who has perfected the art of singing about picking pockets, and likes to review the situation. He is the best friend of bottles of gin and has light feet and fingers. He is believed to be between the ages of 35-65 of gangly build.

Bill Sykes: Warning! Approach with caution! Dangerous! He's a man between the ages of 25-40, with a powerful evil eye. He is wanted by the constabulary for a multitude of thievery and possibly murder!

Mr. Brownlow: A kindly old gentleman of noble birth who has come to believe he may have a long-lost grandson. He is slightly stooped and walks with a cane.

Oliver: A young scallywag from the workhouse, who has escaped to the streets of London. Known to be in the company of the Artful Dodger, he is approximately 12 years old, and has been heard to sing about love on occasion.

Mr. Sowerberry: The town undertaker, usually wearing a black suit to go with his black disposition. No one knows how old he is, as no-one has ever seen him without his dour, old man face. Married to Mrs.
Sowerberry, with a daughter Charlotte, he is a man of few words.

The fine print…
