AUDITION NOTICE: Morpheus Theatre

Aladdin > > > December 13 - 22, 2012

In the Victor Mitchell Theatre, at the Pumphouse Theatre

A Pantomime by Damian Trasler, David Lovesy, Steve Clark and John Dowell

Directed by Jane Phillips Taylor

This Production is fun for all ages.

Join Morpheus Theatre and the incomparable Widow Twankey for a rollicking, family-friendly trip to the Far East this December; we'll take the flying carpet and avoid the holiday line-ups at the airport! The best of storytelling and pantomime meet in this traditional favourite: our hero Aladdin, who is really a-lass-in-a-lad's clothing, a sinister villian, a beautiful princess, a genie and a laundress are just some of the characters you will meet in what promises to be a slosh up of laughter, song and dance, jokes and puns...but don't worry, it will all come out in the wash. Magic rings, magic lamps and secret caves: Open Sesame!

This traditional family panto for kids and all those who refuse to grow up is a high energy comedy full of corny jokes, silly songs and audience participation.
