The Foursome or How I Came to Embrace the End of the World
What: DeFakto is currently casting for their first show: The Foursome or How I Came to Embrace the End of the World, written and directed by P.F.Ramirez. There are four roles we are looking to fill, see the descriptions below. Rehearsals begin October 22, 2015 and the production goes up November 23 – December 5 at Motel in the Arts Common. The casted performers will receive a $500 stipend at the end of the run.
A prepared contemporary piece is suggested but primarily we will be doing some cold reads. Diversity in the cast is welcomed so all physical types are encouraged to audition.
Where: Morpheus Rehearsal Centre (Downstairs Boardroom) 3512 – 5th Avenue NW

Synopsis
“The world is mysteriously coming to an end and you only have 6 hours left, ever! What would you do? What’s on that bucket list? Enter Lexi, Adam, Star and Lucas; star crossed lovers attempting to come to terms with their newly shortened life span. In one last double date these couples will have to decide what truly matters when facing the end. “Provisions” will be consumed, confessions will be made, Spam will be eaten and secrets will be revealed. Would you go out with a BANG or a fizzle?”
