AUDITION NOTICE
Aca-WHAT?
ONCUE, one of Calgary’s most established a cappella
ensembles, is seeking new adult members this upcoming 2016/2017 season.
Auditions are open to all voice parts, male & female.

Monday, July 4th @ 6pm-9pm
Tuesday, July 5th @ 6pm-9pm
Wednesday, July 6th @ 6pm-9pm

Aca-WHO?
ONCUE, is a semi-professional vocal ensemble that blends
tight harmonies with a touch of musical theatre to create a unique brand of
top-notch entertainment. ONCUE is a part of the Youth Singers of Calgary, a
unique performing arts organization that has provided opportunity for young
people to express themselves through music, dance, and theatre since 1985.
ONCUE has performed at many events in Calgary and
surrounding areas including four times at the Podium Choral Conference,
“Northern Harmony” in Edmonton and DCINY’s “Total Vocal with Deke Sharon” at
Carnegie Hall in New York.
What to prepare?
1-3min vocal piece of any style, to
be sung without accompaniment
What to submit?
You will be asked to fill out your
rehearsal
availability upon arrival
Sight reading and performing experience is a must, as you
will be asked to sing a few short sight-reading and harmony exercises.
