Audition Notice - Torchlight Theatre

Torchlight Theatre is holding auditions for Warren Graves' SCROOGE

Synopsis:
A mean-spirited, miserly old man named Ebenezer Scrooge sits tightly locked in his old home, saying "Bah Humbug" to Christmas. Can the visit from the most unexpected guest thaw his frozen heart?
This classic tale of second chances is sure to warm your heart this Christmas Season.

Character Breakdowns:

Scrooge - A wealthy but miserly old Humbug.
Marley – Scrooge’s former business partner, since passed away.
Tim/Young Scrooge - a young boy with a head for business / a kinder Scrooge
Belinda Cratchet/Belle – Sister to Tim / love interest of the young Mr. Scrooge
Bob Cratchet/Dick Wilkins - Scrooge's employee / Former friend and coworker of Scrooge.
Henery Monty/Mr. Fezziwig - A parishioner of St. Swithins / Scrooge’s former employer, a jolly man.
Elizabeth Monty/Mrs. Fezziwig  - A wealthy lady of means / The fun loving wife of Mr. Fezziwig.

Audition Dates: FRIDAY September 16th, 6:30-8:30pm. (Call backs Saturday September 17th @10am)

Auditions, rehearsals and performances will be held at the Airdrie Victory Church in Airdrie.

Rehearsals Begin: Saturday September 24th.  Please review the rehearsal schedule before you register for your audition. While a conflict may be accommodated during rehearsals, YOU MUST BE AT TECH WEEK AND ALL PERFORMANCES.

Audition Requirements:
Please prepare a monologue that best showcases your abilities. Monologues should be no longer than 2 minutes.
