Liffey Players Drama Society is holding auditioning for
their upcoming fall production, A Streetcar Named Desire, By Tennessee Williams
Performances Oct 11th-20th.

Auditions are by appointment only, and will be held on
Sunday, June 24th from 1-4pm and Monday, June 25, 8-10pm at the Irish Cultural
Society, at 6452 - 35 Avenue NW. To schedule yourself for an audition, contact auditions@liffeyplayers.com.
Please forward your resume and a recent photo of yourself, along with an
indication of the role/s you're most interested in (see below), to the same

Thursday, June 28th @ 7pm.
This will be a cold read audition, but a short (2 min) dramatic
monologue is welcomed and encouraged, especially if you're auditioning for
Blanche, Stanley or Stella.
Rehearsals will be Tues, Thurs & some Sundays
throughout July & August. Regular
Sunday rehearsals will begin Sept 9th.
Although a small number of summer availability conflicts will be
tolerated, we ask that you indicate your availability at the time of the
audition, so please bring your calendars.
3M / 3F Lead or Supporting
* Blanche DuBois (F) - age range 30 to 45, a fading
Southern belle, refined and sensitive but neurotic and emotionally scarred by
recent experiences.
* Stanley Kowalski (M) - 25 to 40, blue-collar man,
direct, passionate, unrefined and violent - he views women in a limited
capacity.
* Stella Kowalski (F) - 25 to 40, Blanche's younger
sister, passive and gentle, caught between her husband and her sister, both of
whom she loves.
* Harold "Mitch" Mitchell (M) - 25 to 40,
Stanley's best friend, physically imposing but deeply sensitive and
compassionate
* Steve Hubbel (M) - undetermined age, Stanley &
Stella's landlord who lives upstairs, a friend and poker buddy of Stanley.
* Eunice Hubbel (F) - undetermined age, wife of Steve, a
friend and confidante of Stella.
