When a young New York actress arrives for her audition
she accidentally finds herself trapped in an empty theatre alone. With nothing
to occupy her but her creativity, imagination and memories she'd rather avoid,
she heads down a winding path of introspection , regret and self understanding.
A touching, quirky, haunting piece of theatre, once portrayed by Academy Award
Winner, Frances McDormand, "The Audition" is an experience not to be
missed.
*Roles being cast:* Amy Collatta, an early to mid
twenties actress.
Candidates will be asked to perform one monologue of
their choosing *(no longer than 3 minutes)* and a cold read from the script.
