A darkly comic tale of a fisherman who sees his livelihood disappearing because of an oceanic dead zone off Canada‘s west coast, and a scientist who might just have the solution. Last seen in Calgary at the 2011 High Performance Rodeo and winner of the 2010 Betty Mitchell Award for Outstanding New Play, the entire show is played out atop a 3 foot X 6 foot platform that lights up from inside and is accompanied by a live musical score.

In this playful but politically-engaged project, the facilitators will train audience members to be community conveyors, at which point they will travel to one of Calgary‘s communities and register what one neighbour has to say to the next, passing along messages and helping to establish dialogue within a community.
